The GoFiber XGS-PON 10GE ONT Bridge (GFB1X) is a high-performance optical network terminal (ONT) designed for modern fiber-optic networks. nSupporting ITU-T G.9807.1 standards, the GFB1X provides 10Gbps downstream and upstream speeds, offering symmetrical bandwidth for residential and business environments.nnThe device is equipped with a single 10GE Ethernet port, enabling ultra-fast wired connections for devices requiring high bandwidth, such as gaming consoles, desktop computers, and smart TVs. nThe GFB1X also includes comprehensive Layer-3 support, allowing for efficient management of network traffic through features like PPPoE, DHCP, DNS relay, and NAT/NAPT.nnSecurity is a key focus with the GFB1X, including advanced features such as an SPI firewall, MAC/IP/URL filtering, and DoS attack protection to keep your network safe. nAdditionally, it supports VLAN tagging, VLAN stacking (Q-in-Q), and QoS for optimized traffic prioritization and management.nnThe ONT bridge is designed to support a maximum transmission distance of 20km, ensuring robust performance over long distances. nIt also features full IPv4/IPv6 dual stack compatibility, allowing for seamless integration with modern internet standards.
